Maintenance and development
Your system works, but deployments are stressful, nobody has checked the backups, and the previous developer stopped responding. We take it over, get things in order, and keep developing it.
What we do
- We take over the code and servers, and document what we find at the start.
- We add automated tests and deployments (CI/CD) so every change follows the same path.
- We set up backups on a separate server and regularly check that we can restore the system from them.
- We add monitoring and alerts so we know about an outage before your customers do.
- We install security updates and move the system to supported versions of PHP, its framework, and operating system.
- We build new features in small, reviewable steps.

- A deployment means manually copying files to a server.
- Nobody knows whether the backups work.
- The application runs on an unsupported version of PHP.
- The previous developer is no longer responding.
